What was the problem with the photos ?

[edit]

Very little's been done to this article since 2012. But significant at that time was the removal of three photos which the article still refers to both in the lead-in and in its final section. Seriously, if you're going to delete photos then how about removing reference to them ! But here we are six years later. So there's removal of "Wyuna Court today" on the basis that it's been deleted from Commons because it's an "atrocious image ... should be put out of its misery". I haven't seen the image but I won't argue with that and I will edit away copy reference to that photo. But what about the 1929 and the 1931 photos? I can't see an edit summary saying why they were removed and they clearly haven't been removed from Commons as I can still see them. There is no mention of a copyright violation on Commons - they are PD in Australia. and haven't been foiled by the URAA. Most importantly they are relevant to the article and particularly to the section on "Surviving Buildings". So what's the problem ? I intend to re-instate.-Sticks66 11:29, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
