Possible deletion

[edit]

The reason why this article shouldn't be deleted is because it is not about a person, group of people, band or club; it's a page about a society, a non-governmental organization founded in 1966 as a nonprofit educational and scientific organization in Washington, D.C., with some 25,000 members in more than eighty countries around the world. Also, there are other articles referring to the Society, so to make things more complete this article is needed. The source is the World Future Society itself.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Teykal (talkcontribs)

The article is informative and contains a list of useful references. I disagree with the note that it is blatant advertising, as the article seems to contain basic facts about the society, rather than marketing hype or spin. --CatS (talk) 00:43, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

All of this information was collected from the society's website as it can be checked on www.wfs.org so I don't understand why it should be a cadidate for deletion.

I'm trying to add external references and remove non-objective language but continue to get a error message saying that my (Wikipedia-generated) refernce tags are incorrect. Any help would be appreciated. --Carterde (talk) 16:35, 3 September 2009 (UTC)carterde[reply]
