References

[edit]

I think there must be references to the information posted. I am not a scholar of Islamic Sacred Law, but I think there are a few incorrect points posted.

Hi there. I forgot to include the main reference. It is the first reference in the article wudu (Islamic Aqidah and Fiqh, by Lemu). There really can't be many better references than that one. Which parts do you think are incorrect ? Cheers. MP (talk) 20:54, 19 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In Hanafi school, wudhu doesnt nullify by touching private parts.

Shafi'i Fiqh

[edit]

I changed the Shafi'i Fiqh section giving reference to Imam Ahmad ibn Naqib al-Misri's Reliance of the Traveler, as translated by Sheykh Nuh Ha Mim Keller.

Name change

[edit]

shouldnt this article be changed to 'Wudu according to the FIVE Madhhab'?, since the jafari is included and is a legitimate school of thought. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.194.227.245 (talk) 21:31, 31 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

yes it is a madhab and imam jafar is respected a lot in sunni islam as well. yasirniazkhan (talk) 10:48, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

[edit]

I think this article should be merged back into Wudhu. Wikipedia is not a how to guide (WP:NOTGUIDE).Bless sins (talk) 03:17, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

yes I think it should be merged, since there are only general guidlines in main article, and this is specific info. yasirniazkhan (talk) 10:45, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merge it. Da'oud Nkrumah 04:45, 6 October 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dnkrumah (talkcontribs)
