Orphaned fair use image (Image:OSAF logo.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:OSAF logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article German names of english movies, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. 172.165.180.207 02:37, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free use disputed for Image:Shark attack film.jpg

[edit]
Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Shark attack film.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:39, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Toba Tek Singh

[edit]

Hello,

Way back in February you added a comment to Talk:Toba Tek Singh, saying that the current Toba Tek Singh should be moved to Toba Tek Singh District, with the article for the city taking its place. I have requested the pages to be moved. If you still think it should be moved, please add a comment to the talk page, otherwise ignore :-)

i-post

[edit]

Email to Postal Mail

A convenient free postal mail service which can deliver email messages all over Pakistan. Peoples can now use their email to send letters giving you another route to communicate with others who are not connected to the Internet in Pakistan.

In recent past Internet and e-mail have revolutionized the world of communications. But those who do not have easy access to Internet and e-mail facilities could not get benefits of this facility. In its endeavour to make the benefits of e-mail available to a common man, Al Tayyeb Group has introduced i-post service. By i-post all those who do not have computer or do not have access to Internet can send e-mail by Post Office or receive e-mail through a postman. Those who have access to Internet can also send i-post to those who do not have access to Internet.

Wikipedia should have an article on this social service & must be a part of WikiProject Pakistan. Please comments. --SaqibChaudhry (talk) 09:24, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve List of credit cards in pakistan

[edit]

Hi, I'm Bryanrutherford0. Yasirniazkhan, thanks for creating List of credit cards in pakistan!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. This list contains almost no content, and what is here seems to have been copied from the external link. Please add more content to turn this into a worthwhile article, or it may need to be deleted.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Bryanrutherford0 (talk) 13:02, 27 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article List of credit cards in pakistan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unfinished list article that would be very difficult to maintain. Wikipedia is not a directory of credit card firms and their rates.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ascidian | talk-to-me 14:55, 6 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
