troop strength

[edit]

No mention of the number of troops? This is important! Is it 2,000 or 15,000 or 80,000 or 250,000? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.167.45.242 (talk) 05:16, 13 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

current command staff

[edit]

I was able to find the Commanding General's bio here and the Deputy CG here and the Command Sergeant Major here --rogerd 02:09, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I work on Fort Bragg at the XVIII Airborne Corps, in one of the staff sections, and I'm fairly sure it's still CSM Allen. If I remember correctly, CSM Allen, who came from 1st COSCOM (now 1st Sustainment Command (Theatre)), took the Corps Sergeant Major position this past summer, so he should be around as the Corps CSM for a while. Thanks, after I put that edit summary up I guessed that the CSM would be at the same address as the CG, but at the page named csm.htm . I guessed right, even though it isn't in the index. --rogerd 03:05, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Afghanistan

[edit]

We did a hell of a good job in Afghanistan (at least while my unit was there from 2002-2003 in Bagram Afghanistan even stopped "aniversary attacks" in fact); why is there no mention of any of this in the article? Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.224.3.242 (talkcontribs)

If you have some sources detailing the corps' deployment to Afghanistan, please be bold and edit the article yourself. If you'd prefer someone else do it, or if you need help with grammar/spelling/use of Wikipedia syntax, I can help. Parsecboy 19:19, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Subordinate Units

[edit]

According to http://www.forscom.army.mil/cmd_staff/orgchart/OrganizationalChart.htm, the only subordinate division that the 18th Airborne Corps has is the 82nd Airborne Corps. Anyone know different. The website is official for FORSCOM. Mrshankly01 (talk) 17:26, 13 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
