Hook eligibility:

  • Cited: Yes
  • Interesting: Yes
  • Other problems: No - Ideally the DYK subject would be mentioned before its peripheral device.
QPQ: Done.

Overall: Article is solid. The hook is good, but needs to be shuffled around a bit in order to give priority to the DYK subject. QPQ done; Earwig detects no problem. The big issue here, however, is the timing of this DYK nom. Am I correct that this nom wasn't submitted until 15 days after this article's creation? If so, then this nom wouldn't qualify as that is well beyond the 7-day window required. Would appreciate hearing another editor's opinion before I make a decision here. • My my, that is quite odd. @CurryTime7-24: If you look back through the page history, it says I moved the page from draftspace on 26 February, well within the 7 day limit. I believe that you might be getting that date from when I created the initial draft page. Hope that clears things up.
  • As for a shuffle of the hook, how about:
    • ALT1 ... that a robotic controller for the Yamaha Reface CS was described by Mixmag magazine as looking "like an army of robot toothbrushes cleaning a synth"?
    • ALT2 ... that a motorized controller for the Yamaha Reface CS, the Reface Robot, was described by Mixmag magazine as looking "like an army of robot toothbrushes cleaning a synth"?
Hope those are good. Please contact me again if there are any other problems. Schminnte (talk contribs) 08:10, 27 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, I see. Thanks for clearing that up! I missed it earlier. And these ALTs are just fine. Either one works. Great job! —CurryTime7-24 (talk) 20:55, 27 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
