Yein, I thought there was no page on this artist already. You can not do a page that already exists, but since you are focusing on the one album I expect there to be quite a bit of scholarly engagement with it or else I am not sure how you plan to build this wikipage up content wise. In other words--who is thinking about this album in particular? You can not contact the artist...as Andrea pointed out this is not the place for original research. But I think if you frame it as "Yellow Ranger as Feminist Rap Album" or something like that-you can go beyond an album page, make sense? You need scholarly articles! --JustJess PhD (talk) 07:54, 6 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

So I do not know if you are already aware of this but there is a template for pages on albums. I am not sure exactly how it works but I think you just paste it in and it will format your page. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:WikiProject_Albums I found this on the wiki project page specifically for album pages which has a lot of helpful stuff https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Albums#New_articles One of the most helpful things on there is the "style guide" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Albums/Album_article_style_guide This might help you figure out what you need to find. I do not know if you own a physical copy of the album but one of he categories is "packaging art work" so you might benefit from ordering a copy if you have the money. Also, it would be AWESOME if you got in touch with her but wiki doesn't allow "original research" so be careful. Maybe she could tell you where to find more info online? Hope I helped! Hey girl hey. I know we haven't talked yet, but we're a team for this class! Yay! I was just stopping by your page for a bit to see what was going on and I am in the same boat as you. There isn't much here, but I know you know a lot more about this, as you have a brain that Dr. Pabon wants to eat (haha). But I also remember you maybe wanting to change your topic idea for your page to activism in hip hop or some branch of that? If that's the case, then I can totally help you research and such about it. Plus, I think focusing in on one part of activism in hip hop would be a lot better, if you choose to go that route. If you stay with this topic, it is definitely narrow enough to get a page out of without going overboard, but expansion is needed. Shaffera2 (talk) 21:32, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
