'Only constituency in North Yorkshire not represented by Conservatives'[edit]

There are problems with the statement that the seat is 'currently the only constituency in North Yorkshire not represented by Conservatives'. This depends on how North Yorkshire is defined. The ceremonial county - which the page links to includes seats like Middlesbrough South and East Cleveland and Redcar which are Labour held. Dunarc (talk) 19:55, 28 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Does this require updating following Keir Mather's win after the 2023 Selby and Ainsty by-election? Therefore, one in three constituencies? RyanPLB (talk) 19:35, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

map out of date[edit]

The map is out of date due to the 2023 boundary changes. I'm not sure how to update it Alyxbb (talk) 16:19, 14 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, you’re right, there are minor but noticeable changes to the constituency boundaries and these impact York Outer (UK Parliament constituency) too. I think Wikipedia:WikiProject Politics of the United Kingdom are working on updating all U.K. constituencies. -- Malcolmxl5 (talk) 01:37, 15 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
