Frank Sinatra performing this song[edit]

I'm curious what the reference is for the paragraph saying Frank Sinatra performed this song. The CD-ROM "Where Or When" is an up-to-date discography of every song Sinatra ever sang. It does not list this Alice Cooper song at all. It does list a song called "You And Me (We Wanted It All)" by Carole Bayer Sager and Peter Allen, which Sinatra sang numerous times in concert and recorded on the 1979 album "Trilogy," which has a Wikipedia article here. The discography and I believe this is the only song entitled "You And Me" that Frank Sinatra ever performed, and that this Alice Cooper paragraph should be deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jazzfan445 (talkcontribs) 22:04, 14 August 2011 (UTC) http://www.npr.org/2011/03/04/134230317/alice-cooper-the-gentle-man-behind-the-shock-rocker[reply]

"Frank Sinatra did one of my songs. He did 'You and Me' at the Hollywood Bowl one night." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.225.23.168 (talk) 19:47, 14 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sinatra never sang Alice Cooper's "You and Me" anywhere, neither studio nor live in concert; what's stated in the Wikipedia article as well as what (alledgedly) Cooper is quoted to have said ("he did it at the Hollywood Bowl one night") is pure fiction. "Jazzfan445" above has already linked to the main & most complete Sinatra discography for proof; more proof re Bayer Sager/Allen's "You and Me" could be added, but certainly none for Alice Cooper. PS: After 1977 when Cooper came up with the song, Sinatra didn't perform at The Hollywood Bowl at all. Sinatra's performances at The Hollywood Bowl happened in 1943, 1945, 1946, 1948 and 1967. Regards, --84.147.165.193 (talk) 22:38, 10 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yo, User:Richhoncho: Why did you revert another user's addition of WP:Love Songs? Because I certainly think this song qualifies.JGabbard (talk) 05:33, 21 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

JGabbard. Because there is nothing in the article to confirm what the song is about. The category has now been deleted as a meaningless category. I just saved the bot the trouble! --Richhoncho (talk) 08:07, 21 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Alice Cooper can heard making his claim that Frank Sinatra performed his song "You and Me" at the Hollywood Bowl while being interviewed by Kirsty Young on BBC Radio 4 Programme "Desert Island Discs". It was first broadcast on 21st November 2010 and is still available for download at https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00w1151. Whether you believe Alice Cooper is another thing!80.189.174.75 (talk) 17:59, 17 July 2018 (UTC)AndyW[1][reply]
