Hi, Aille (and others). Thanks so much for taking a few minutes to revise my work, it is much appreciated. It was an amateur post, I know, but hopefully a viable/valuable contribution to the Wikipedia Encyclopedia. Any suggestions as to next steps to take, changes to titles, other sources, etc., are very much welcome. Entry was made as part of a University of Toronto history course assignment. (any comments/suggestions on style and formatting are also HIGHLY appreciated) R.Young UTM (talk) 17:25, 26 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Something missing from this article

[edit]

It appears to me that this article is incomplete. Why the US Army detained the ship, and whatever diplomatic efforts may have been necessary to release it, need to be explained, it seems to me. Terry Thorgaard (talk) 18:58, 21 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The shipment

[edit]

Is that list correct? It's hard to believe that 250.000 rifles (among other things) could fit into one ship and be worth only 600.000 dollars (even despite a dollar being worth much more a 100 years ago). And did the client really need so many rifles? Maybe it should be 25.000? Or even 2.500?
