"Unclear clutter"[edit]

Regarding deleted content, why are these photos and content "unclear"? Perhaps some could be removed, but others seem to be helpful. Any suggestions on improving the content and layout is requested. Jim1138 (talk) 04:18, 3 November 2017 (UTC)

Too detailed content[edit]

Wikipedia is not a how to guide WP:NOTGUIDE, I do not see any substance in this article other than the photos and a pictorial of how to tie the knot. I'm wondering if there's a better place to merge this article into? Ifnord (talk) 15:34, 7 November 2017 (UTC)

Knot pages are incomplete, even useless without section on tying; I suggest to accept "this is how you can tie" as a guide therefore not good, and "this is the usual way it is tied" as encyclopedic info therefore acceptable wikipedia content. There are many such pages, just expand and check the list of "knots by type" at the bottom of the article. Cobanyastigi (talk) 22:53, 7 November 2017 (UTC)
You are correct. I will keep that in mind. Ifnord (talk) 22:56, 8 November 2017 (UTC)
