Donnie Darko: The Director's Cut[edit]

Moved to mainspace by A Thousand Doors (talk). Self-nominated at 18:17, 23 January 2016 (UTC).

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems

Hook eligibility:

  • Cited: Yes
  • Interesting: Yes
  • Other problems: No - the wording might be tighter. I'll suggest an ALT
QPQ: Done.

Overall: I liked the original but haven't seen the director's cut. The article indicates that it's not as good so it's definitely not too promotional. Andrew D. (talk) 15:19, 21 February 2016 (UTC)

  • ALT1 ... that Donnie Darko was described as being the first flop to be given a director's cut?
    • I'd have no real objection to that phrasing, my only concern would be that it would violate WP:EGG – a reader could reasonably expect that clicking the bold link will take them to the Director's cut article, when in actuality it won't at all.
