Millennium Force[edit]

The yellow train dropping 300 feet (91 m).

  • ... that Cedar Point's Millennium Force (pictured) broke ten world records when it opened including being the first complete circuit roller coaster built over 300 feet (91 m)?

5x expanded by Astros4477 (talk). Self nom at 15:16, 6 January 2013 (UTC)

  • This is obviously a very good article and certainly long enough, but I don't think it qualifies for DYK. It was 7600 characters a month ago and is now a bit under 15000, so still less than 2x expansion and the required 5x expansion seems unlikely. Rlendog (talk) 02:55, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
  • Well I think I've put every ounce of material into the article. I must have missed the 2x expansion, I thought for sure this would qualify. It's my first DYK nomination so thanks!--Astros4477 (talk) 03:13, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
  • You're welcome. Actually, the requirement is for a 5x expansion (except for certain limited situations - not this one - where a 2x expansion is accepted), since DYK's main purpose is to highlight new articles. If the article was close to 5x, I would have question marked it to give an opportunity to expand up to 5x, but starting from 2x with the article as long as it is, reaching or even getting close to 5x did not seem possible.
