Williamsburgh Savings Bank Building (175 Broadway)
- ... that though one publication said in 2001 that going to the Williamsburgh Savings Bank Building was like "an act of religious devotion", it was poorly suited for modern uses? - ALT8: ... that the dome of the Williamsburgh Savings Bank Building inspired that above the Williamsburgh Savings Bank Tower, despite objections from the tower's architects? Source: [1]. This numbering is correct because it's a double nom. See also Template:Did you know nominations/Williamsburgh Savings Bank Tower; if this hook is chosen, it has to be approved in both nominations.

- Article was created 1 April. No issues of copyvio or plagiarism. All sources appear reliable. QPQ is done. Hooks are interesting and sourced. I like the primary hook. I think there may be a typo on ALT8. You meant to type the “dome above”? I’d personally like to see the two buildings have separate DYKs, but a combined may be interesting. I don’t think many people are aware of the connection between the two buildings. Looks ready to go. Congratulations on this excellent article! Thriley (talk) 21:47, 1 April 2022 (UTC)
- @Thriley: Thanks for the review - I'm fine with either a separate hook or a combination hook. For ALT8, yes, that is what I meant, but both are technically grammatically correct; "that above" is short for "[the dome] above". Epicgenius (talk) 00:31, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
