Add the following three positions to the offense:
| FL = FL
| SE = SE
| E = E
and again for second position:
| FL = , FL
| SE = , SE
| E = , E
This template can work for teams that played early in the two-platoon era but some of the older positions and formations are still there, and it'd be nice to reflect that. Calling split ends and ends receivers loses the nuances of the era. Brendinooo (talk) 13:04, 20 December 2023 (UTC)
- Done as I can see some use cases for these new positions (2002 Ohio State Buckeyes for FL and SE, 1956 Purdue Boilermakers for E). I did link to Wide receiver § Types for FL and SE as the original links would have redirected to those pages anyway. Added to the template documentation as well. Thanks!
