- Sourcing (V, RS, BLP): We need a fuller citation on some of these sources. Where did you access funeral billing records? And what is "Life of Salomon Dannebaum"? Gamaliel (talk) 15:55, 28 July 2011 (UTC)

- Obvious faults in prose, structure, formatting: This is a fine and promising first draft, and vaudeville is something that definitely needs more coverage on Wikipedia, but I don't feel this is ready for the front page yet. (I will defer to those more experienced at DYK if they feel it is ready to go, however.) Aside from the issues noted above, there is precious little in this article about what makes this person notable and too much minutiae about relatives and the disposition of his remains. There appear to be a number of good texts on vaudeville in Google Books, that may be a good source of further information. Gamaliel (talk) 15:55, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
