Template-protected edit request on 29 November 2015[edit]

STOP!

Before editing this page, please bear in mind that non-canon names such as Paige the Sketchbook, Harry, Manny or Robin are not to be added to the article. Despite being the popular fan names they are not official names and so shouldn't be added to the article. Thank you for your cooperation :)

Good faith edits to the article that change the canon names to fan-made ones are extremely common, with comment messages often being ignored. This notice should hopefully stop this from happening as often. NottNott talk|contrib 13:43, 29 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

STOP!
I'm a computer! I'm a computery guy...

Before editing this page, please bear in mind that non-canon speculation is not to be added to the article. If a particular interpretation of the series hasn't been cited in a reliable source and is just a fan theory then it should not be added to the article as it is original research - against Wikipedia policy.

This includes popular fan names that are not official. Manny, Robin, Harry, Paige and any other unconfirmed name that doesn't have a citation to a canonised source isn't to be added to the article. Thank you for your cooperation :)

'I'm a computer! I'm a computery guy...' is a reference to the subject of the article. WP:IAR. Otherwise this revision stresses that uncited speculation shouldn't be added to the article, which is really frequent. -NottNott|talk 21:58, 26 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Check it out, I applied part of your suggestion. It might be a reference that fans will understand, but I don't think it's appropriate as a front-end banner. — Andy W. (talk ·ctb) 23:44, 26 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Andy M. Wang: Your revision is better - many thanks. -NottNott|talk 15:38, 27 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Change the title from "STOP" to "OK, STOP!" Just thought it would be funny to reference the TV show. Quangson306 (talk) 03:34, 8 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

To editor Quangson306: sorry, haven't seen the show. Is "Ok, stop!" some sort of meme? often used in the show? P.I. Ellsworth , ed. put'r there 05:54, 8 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, STOP... and click this!
Yes, a running joke in episode 4 of the TV show. Here's the full episode for context (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wX7lPHCYPdY). It's a character named Warren who freezes the show then yells "OK, Stop!" every time someone misbehave. Quangson306 (talk) 17:20, 8 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Amazing! Okay, I know this edit request has been closed, and it's true that Wikipedia editors are pretty serious about at least one thing... building an encyclopedic reference work. Just for the record, we're not without a fun side so check out our special department. And remember... plants supply us with the air we breathe, even the weeds.  Not done: While I appreciate the attempt at humour, that gets a little too meta for the encyclopedia (and is not really a, well, encyclopedic warning). Primefac (talk) 15:27, 8 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
