The electron configuration of Lw should end with 6d1 instead of 7p1 87.181.78.126 (talk) 15:51, 13 May 2019 (UTC)
- Not done This was a matter of some theoretical and experimental debate for a while, but it's quite well-established now that the anomalous 7p1 configuration is correct (as relativistic effects cause a substantial lowering of energy of the 7p1/2 subshell). A brief discussion of this matter is in the main article under Lawrencium#Atomic. BTW, the symbol for lawrencium was originally Lw, but it was changed to Lr when the name was accepted by IUPAC. The electron configuration is incorrect. It should be “5f^14 6d^1 7s^2” 157.201.96.100 (talk) 16:01, 16 September 2022 (UTC)
