RfC on naming countries in infoboxes

[edit]

A RfC which may affect this infobox's |premiere_location= and other parameters that include a country name has been opened at WT:WikiProject Music#Naming countries in infoboxes. Please add your comments there. —Ojorojo (talk) 17:37, 17 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

italicization?

[edit]

So at The Secret of My Success (musical) I was thinking...I know there's a way to italicize part of the article name but not all of it...grumble grumble gotta go find that...and I put the infobox in and suddenly that's sorted. Did the infobox do that? And know not to italicize (musical)? That's brilliant! Ping on reply, very busy IRL. —valereee (talk) 00:33, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please change | label4 = Book to | label4 = Book. Linking infobox parameter names is common practice when it comes to uncommon terms (c.f. Template:Infobox royalty), and most readers are not familiar with musical theater lingo and will find "Book" to be confusing – it sounds like the musical is an adaption of a novel.

Should the wikilink for "Book" be changed to Musical theatre#Book musicals, as that is where Book (musical theatre) redirects? CatCar28 (talk) 19:31, 10 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
