Can the contents be updated to

I am struggling to see the purpose of

}}

I'm guessing that's just there for future expansion. Or possibly just because it was originally based on Infobox road/USAtest which has two switch statements as well. -- WOSlinker (talk) 22:21, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
(ec) That's there in the event we need to add states for Europe, which User:Imzadi1979 has said will need to be done eventually. The switch could be readded later, but IMO it's easier this way as all that will need to be done is add lines to the switch. – TMF 22:23, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ontario can't use the regions parameter[edit]

What is the collective name for the top order subdivision of the Province of Ontario? That's the classification that Ontario articles should be using. By using too many names, all utility of that section of the infobox is lost. Imzadi 1979 → 02:50, 8 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed, plus they don't like to work together. There is no official term, but Wikipedia seems to be using "Division", and that would work best with the junction list having the same thing. - ʄɭoʏɗiaɲ τ ¢ 10:43, 8 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The consensus is that its broken right now. Do I need to start a discussion to have people say "yep, thats not working", or would me simply informing you of that be enough to get past the bouncer? This is locked to prevent vandalism, not to prevent minor adjustments to make a parameter work correctly.

Spanish regions?[edit]

This temple is currently supporting the "ESP" parameter for Spain, while Spain is not made up of regions, but of "Autonomous Communities" (Comunidades Autónomas in Spanish). These terms should not be confused since this can offend some of the "nationalities" of Spain such as Catalonia, the Basque Country or Galicia, which are protected by the Spanish Consitution thanks to the "autonomous communities". The ACs are not "regions" at all and have more competences than many federal states of several federations around the world. A new template for the "Autonomous Comunities" should be created while the "ESP" parameter should be removed from this template. Mllturro (talk) 15:48, 10 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
