Template talk:JSfile editnotice
Appearance
Link to skin.js
[edit]Is it really helpful to link to skin.js in this template? It seems unnecessary. The link to the user's common.js is sufficient, in my opinion. --Yair rand (talk) 14:12, 15 February 2016 (UTC)
Warning needs some highlighting
[edit]- I ran across a template at MediaWiki:Common.css and left a message on the talk page. I was directed here and to Template talk:Skinfile so I will leave messages at both places. Message:
- "Hello, I just read the template at the top of the page and think something with ominous connotations (Wikipedia detrimate?) should be highlighted or presented with a warning so it stands out. My concerns are:
- "Please note that changes are visible within minutes.
Errors you make here can disrupt the entire encyclopedia
, so make sure you know what you are doing. Always check with the W3C CSS Validation Service before and after any changes.".
- Would someone please look at this? Otr500 (talk) 19:36, 12 August 2018 (UTC)

Please replace This is [[JavaScript]] for {{{1}}}
with This is the [[JavaScript]] for {{{1}}}
(adding the) to match {{Skinfile}} and be more grammatically correct. Thanks, --DannyS712 (talk) 03:35, 7 March 2019 (UTC)
