I have changed the diagram to show where the trains carrying cement products from Southam to the Rugby plant of Rugby cement ran. This is significant as the line stayed open for much longer than the rest. Because the direct line had been lifted the trains had to reverse at the site of Marton Junction to traverse the route. This [1] site has information on the practice. Britmax 16:14, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Great Central Railway crossing

[edit]

Great Central Railway line crossed the Weedon to Leamington line between Braunston and Flecknoe not where shown see: 1954 OS map of crossing. I've tried to alter the Template but can't get it right. Anyone want to have a go?

I have corrected the diagram as per your note. it was probably my fault to start with (!) Britmax (talk) 10:36, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Template : Leamington Spa former branch lines

[edit]

On closer examination of this template, there is no connectional line shown from Weedon station to Daventry station, yet there was indeed such a connection that carried services on the Weedon to Marton Junction line. May I ask you to view this particular matter and to amend the template in order to show the connection.
