Please change to use importScript

[edit]

This should be changed to use importScript as follows:

// [[User:Lupin/popups.js]]
importScript('User:Lupin/popups.js');

Could an admin please edit this template to make the change? Thanks. Mike Dillon 01:24, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Also, the instructions should be put into a <noinclude> tag so that non-code doesn't end up in someone's JavaScript file. Mike Dillon 01:25, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Mentioned this at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject User scripts#Template talk:Navpop, hoping for feedback. Luna Santin 21:55, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
OK. I mentioned the addition of importScript there a few weeks ago and it was well received, so I'm sure that any response you get will be positive. Mike Dillon 23:44, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

{{editprotected}} Could someone add an interwikilink to nl:Sjabloon:Navpop? Thanks. – Chip Zero 09:48, 27 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Cheers. --MZMcBride 00:26, 28 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

IE crash

[edit]

I kept experiencing javascript errors and often a total browser crash when I opened Wikipedia on IE7 (WinXP). I have removed Navpop and it seems to have fixed the problem.

The Javascript error was coming up as "linkfull is undefined" - anything to do with Navpop? Cnbrb (talk) 14:15, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please update to use current gadget code, instead of lupin.js route

[edit]

Please replace the current page content (before the noinclude) with this

// Wikipedia:Tools/Navigation popups
importScript('MediaWiki:Gadget-popups.js');
importStylesheet('MediaWiki:Gadget-navpop.css');

Because the current lupin.js import route is now triggering a large warning: http://i.imgur.com/GgoUgJD.png
