Color Change

[edit]

go to my user page for the reason why --Hollerbackgril 02:01, 27 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think these language templates, xx, xx-1, xx-2, xx-3 and xx-4 have been made consistent for a reason, which means we should not just change the color of one of them. Prolog 05:36, 27 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
what reason is that? see Template_talk:User_en-5 and Template:User en-4 for more. --Hollerbackgril 10:33, 27 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The colors should be in line with WP:BABEL. Many users can speak several languages at level 3, so having 50 xx-3 boxes blue and one, en-3, orange does not make much sense. I suggest you propose the color change on Wikipedia talk:Babel, so more users can comment on it. Prolog 12:51, 27 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Trying to get light green colors to match other templates. -The Big X 21:54, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Challenging "info-s = 7.5"

[edit]

Why "info-s" is "7.5" here in "en-3"? I think "info-s" should be dropped so that the info size is the same as in "en-2", "en-4", and so on. Regards, --Anna Lincoln (talk) 15:25, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed. Thanks, Majestic. --Anna Lincoln (talk) 07:35, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Edit Req

[edit]

editrequest Could the template be updated to the code below:

<includeonly>{{#ifeq:{categories}|no||}}</includeonly><noinclude>
pp-template
documentation
</noinclude>

This is to change it to use the userbox-level template which is used by other similar userboxes. Thanks -- WOSlinker (talk) 14:32, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Definition

[edit]

I cannot find a definition or even any kind of allegorical suggestion of what "advanced" means. In fact I have yet to see definitions for any of the levels. Can anyone direct me accordingly? MJXcess (talk) 05:55, 21 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Could you make nice centered text, by adding code < center > (avoid - of course - space between "<" and "c" and between "r" and ">"...) in line: "info" before words: "This user..."? Zboralski (talk) 22:29, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

New wording

[edit]

Is it just me who thinks the new wording of this template ("advanced level of the English language" rather than "advanced level of English") sounds even stranger? – filelakeshoe (t / c) 06:11, 14 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
