Thammanam (Malayalam: തമ്മനം) is a region in the city of Kochi, in the state of Kerala, India. Thammanam is a sub urban residential area in Kochi city limit. This place lies in the major intersection of the Kochi city through Palarivattom Road which lands at Vytilla (the largest intersection) landing through Ponnurunni Rob to Vytilla Junction. Another from M G Road starting from Pulleppady Rob cutting Kathrikadavu Junction towards Thammanam Junction. The region lies at a distance of about 6 km from downtown Kochi. This is a predominantly residential and small commercial area with basic facilities in and around the region.
