"The Taste of Ink" is the second single from the Used's self-titled debut album The Used. It was released to radio and video in September 2002 and a CD was released on March 10, 2003.

A demo version was released as part of Demos from the Basement, the original demo CD distributed by the band which was then called Used.[1]

This song became available as downloadable content for the video game Rock Band on April 10, 2010.[2]
