The Three-Body Problem (Chinese: 三体) is an upcoming Chinese science fiction film based on the novel The Three-Body Problem by Liu Cixin, directed by Panpan Zhang and starring Feng Shaofeng and Zhang Jingchu. The film is scheduled to be released in 2017[2][3][4] in 3D.[5]

Production

The film has a budget of CN¥200 million.[6] Filming began in March 2015 in Heilongjiang and ended in July 2015,[4] produced by Yoozoo Film established in 2014 by Lin Qi.[7]
