Thomas Dalgaard (born 13 April 1984)[1] is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a forward for Danish side Silkeborg KFUM.[2]

Early career

Dalgaard began to play football in 2001 in the youth side for Nykøbing Mors IF and joined than in summer 2003 to Silkeborg IF.

Career

Dalgaard began his professional career with Skive IK and joined later in summer 2006 to Randers FC, he played with Randers FC in the Danish Superliga who scores ten goals in 31 games and left than in January 2008 Denmark to sign with Turkish side Manisaspor.[3]

He only played two games for the Turkcell Super League side Manisaspor and was released in August after the club was relegated. He signed on 27 August 2008 with Skive IK, and extended his contract with his youth club on 14 April 2009. On 31 July 2014, after having played two seasons for Viborg FF, Dalgaard signed a three-year deal with Dutch Eredivisie side SC Heerenveen. After six disappointing months, without a single goal for Heerenveen, Dalgaard returned to Denmark, to Odense Boldklub on loan in February 2015.
