"Tu Amor" (English: "Your Love") is a song written by Diane Warren for Jon B.'s album Cool Relax.

"Tu Amor" was later covered by Mexican pop group RBD. It was the first single released from their fourth studio and first all-English album, Rebels (2006). The lead vocals are sung by Christian Chávez.

Release

"Tu Amor" debuted on On-Air With Ryan Seacrest morning show on KIIS-FM in Los Angeles.

According to writer Diane Warren[1] and Media Base, the song was released to American radio on September 22, 2006. According to AMG,[2] the single was released on CD in the United States on November 24, 2006.

The song became their first single to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at #65. In Japan, however, the song hit #30.

The song was featured on the telenovela Rebelde, which was previously aired on TV5 in the Philippines.

Music video

The video for "Tu Amor" was shot on the beach in Los Angeles. MTV Tr3s premiered it on October 23, 2006 and it made its debut at number 6 on Mi TRL, aired on MTV Tr3s. The video also airs on MTV Hits. The video shows them on the beach having fun, and also having a bonfire. Fans noticed that there were only solo shots of Christopher in the video, not being shown with the others. This was due the fact he was not there when the rest of the group were shooting the video. His scenes were filmed later and included in the video.
