Musical career
Tucker Beathard is the son of Nashville songwriter Casey Beathard and the brother of University of Iowa quarterback C. J. Beathard. As a child, he played drums in a band that also included his brothers,[1] but later moved to playing guitar instead.[2] He attended Middle Tennessee State University with the intent of playing baseball, but after tearing his shoulder, he chose to focus on music instead.[3]
Beathard signed with Dot Records, an imprint of Big Machine Records, in 2016 and released his debut single "Rock On".[1] It reached number 2 on the Country Airplay chart in October 2016. The EP album's second single, "Momma and Jesus" released to country radio on November 7, 2016. His debut EP Fight Like Hell released in October 7, 2016.
