Union Leader is a 2017 Indian drama film directed by Sanjay Patel and starring Rahul Bhat and Tillotama Shome. The film's original title was Kamdar Union that was later changed to Union Leader during the post production.[1]

Plot
Resigned to his fate as a worker in a notoriously shoddy chemical plant, Jay wants little more than for his wife and son to escape their life of poverty but soon he realizes that he must not only find a way to support his family, but also overcome grave social and legal injustice in the system. [2]
Filming
The filming took place at various locations in Ahmedabad, Gujarat and it was wrapped up towards the end of December 2016.The film was shot in India in late 2016, and features an all-Indian cast. However, the post-production work was done in Calgary. [2]
Film Festivals
Union Leader has already been accepted by several film festivals, including the Hof International Film Festival in Germany and the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival in Florida.[2]
Release
Union Leader is set to release on 19 January 2018.[3]
