Union Township is one of fifteen townships in Effingham County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2010 census, its population was 742 and it contained 297 housing units.[1]

Geography

According to the 2010 census, the township (T6N R6E) has a total area of 35.84 square miles (92.8 km2), of which 35.8 square miles (93 km2) (or 99.89%) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km2) (or 0.11%) is water.[1]
