VOID

Gaurav Mankoti, better known by his stage name Void is an Indian Rapper, lyricist. Void started his professional rapping career in 2017 before which he was a choreographer and dance teacher. He has been a well known choreographer in the Indian dance industry from the year 2012 to 2018. Void participated in the Indian Rap Show MTV Hustle in 2019. This was a major break through for Void as his few tracks such as Sidhe Pahad Se , Void Kaun Hai , Bekhayali Rap etc became widely famous in India. He was then felicitated by the Uttarakhand Chief Minister - Trivendra Singh Rawat for his accomplishment on MTV Hustle . Since then Void has been touring and doing live shows all over India.

Life and career

Gaurav Mankoti was born in Almora , Uttarakhand on 2 December 1993. His parents are Mr. B.S Mankoti and Mrs. Vandana Mankoti. He has a younger sibling whose name is Abhay Mankoti. He received his schooling at Sherwood College Nainital where he was very active in the field of dance and music. He went to college at Sri Venkateswara University where he joined the college dance team called Verve. In college he started his professional dance career . He went on to choreograph for artists like Ranveer Singh , Salman Khan , Benny Dayal, Raftaar , Raja Kumari etc. with his dance partner Chandni Srivastava. He has also been a contestant in the dance show Dance Plus Season 1. In 2018 Void released his debut single - Guy From The Hills . And soon after that he dropped several other tracks on his Youtube Channel. He collaborated with Benny Dayal for a track called Achillis. Since then he has been working with his music producer - Exult Yowl. Void got major recognition in the show MTV Hustle in 2019 where he was selected by golden buzzer in the auditions itself. He gave several hit songs in show such as Sidhe Pahad Se , Void Kaun Hai , Gravity , Bekhayali etc. Sidhe Pahad Se became a beloved anthem track for the a people from the hills as it is representation of all the people living in the hills. Void co-wrote and sung the Breezer Vivid Shuffle 2019 Anthem track .He has been touring India and doing live shows in several cities. He also did his first international show in 2019 at Shanghai.
