Electric Manakin is a Canadian video game developer for the Apple iPhone.
Founded in 2009 in London, Ontario, its first, and currently only game called BloxZon came on the scene in July, 2009. There is currently another game, called Metranoid, in the late stages of development and should be released sometime in mid June, 2009.
Electric Manakin was formed by Jody Gillies and Robert Adam Leathorn. Jody had a background in Graphics Design and has a great creative and artistic mind that helped him come up with great ideas for games for the iPhone and iPod Touch platform. Adam had a background in programming, and started testing some game development on the iPod Touch in late March of 2009. The two decided to join forces and release BloxZon. From there, Electric Manakin was formed and has turned into a great London, Ontario based video game development company, with a lot of creative game ideas. Although the company is only about to release their second game, there are a lot of other fun games that will be released in the near future, according to CTO, Robert Adam Leathorn.
