Sex Bob-omb is an Canadian rock band consisting of vocalist and guitarist Stephen Stills, vocalist and drummer Kim Pine, and vocalist and bassist Scott Pilgrim. They have not completed an album as of yet, but have sold nearly 100 singles. Originally they were to be produced by Gideon Graves, but after his mysterious disappearance, they have yet to produce a record under any company. [1]

History[edit]

Formation[edit]

The Band was originally formed in 1999 when Scott Pilgrim and high school friend Stephen Stills formed it in their garages. In their the words of Stills "we had nothing better to do, Scottie was just out of College". Even though Pilgrim had never had any previous musical experience, he picked up the bass and learned how to play a couple notes. Pine, another high school friend was recruited by the group as their drummer, and they began to achieve mild local success, mainly among a couple of their friends.

Touring[edit]

With the moderate success of their single "Garbage Man", Sex Bob-omb began touring irregularly. They were first noticed during a gig at local venue known as The Rockit. The preformance was described as "Fiery and intense" by several of the audience members and were declared the winners of the battle of the bands because the other bands had fled or disappeared.

Sex Bob-omb later opened for The Clash at Demonhead and destroyed half of the preformance venue after the show during what was described as an altercation between the bassists of both bands. Their touring season culminated in a preformance for Gideon Graves at his acclaimed chaos theater. They were signed for a record deal under "GGG Heavy Industries", Grave's production company, but with the recent disappearance of Graves, no word has been released on the state of the deal. As of 2009, Sex Bob-omb is an unsigned band.

Departure of Pilgrim[edit]

While the Sex Bob-omb never released any statement as to why Pilgrim left, sources of have speculated that it was for personal reasons. He was confirmed handing his Bass Guitar to Neil "Young Neil" Nordegraf, saying that "From now on you will be known as Neil...". As of 2009 Nordegraf is Sex-Bob-ombs official bassist.[2]
