The Bridge Recording, in Glendale, California (USA), is a music recording studio and music for media scoring stage. Conceived and built by Greg Curtis in 2010, the recording studio was designed by Jay Kaufman and Associates. The studio is unique in that it serves only one client at time in its large main scoring stage which includes 2 large isolation booths.

Clients include: ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, Starz, Netfilx, Warner Bros., Universal, Paramount Pictures, Disney, Dreamworks, EA Games, Ubisoft, Riot Games, AMC, Bose, Concord Records, Disney Jr., Hallmark, Immediate Music, Legendary Pictures, New Line Cinema, Showtime, SyFy, Walt Disney Resorts, X-Ray Dog.

Recording Spaces and Equipment[edit]

The main recording area can hold over 60 musicians in its 47-foot by 35-foot space, with 24-foot ceilings. Two isolation booths, 17' by 12' each with 11' ceilings, can easily hold drum sets, concert grand piano, or small groups of instrumentalists with heavy isolation from the main room. There are various other rooms for isolating amplifiers or performers.

The control room features a custom 96-channel, 192 input, Neve VSP film scoring console, which was originally built for and installed in Paramount Pictures, Scoring Stage M. The original, bespoke Neve 48-channel cue mixer is also installed. Custom ATC 300 LCR speakers and a built-in 5.1 surround array are used in the 800 square foot control room. 5 discrete record/playback DAW rigs can be supported remotely in the machine room via 5 built-in KVM distribution networks. HiDefinition video distribution is employed through the facility.

The Bridge Recording owns a rare "Artist's Bank" Steinway D, 9-foot Concert Grand Piano, CD # 0154.

Microphones consist of over 120 variants from RCA, Nuemann, AKG, Schoeps, AEA, Soundelux, Dave Bock, Sennheiser, Electro-Voice, Beyer Dynamic, Shure, and others.

Many of The Bridge Recording's assets were acquired from the CBS/Radford Todd-AO Scoring Stage, and Paramount Pictures Stage M, which closed during construction of The Bridge Recording.
