Alan Crossley is a Canadian Investment Banking Specialist and Managing Partner of A. Crossley & Associates based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. A. Crossley & Associates specializes in advising small and mid-sized private companies in Mergers and Acquistions and raising Capital. Alan holds an MBA from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario.

Alan is a first generation Canadian born to Douglas and Hilary Crossley of Liverpool, UK, and has siblings Raymond, Dayna and John Crossley. His career began with several progressive positions at C-I-L Inc., one of Canada's largest companies at the time. He was seconded to the corporations US Headquarters to assist with the integration of numerous acquired companies and lead the penetration of the US markets. After returning to Canada he was recruited to Canada National Railway (CNR) playing a pivotal role in the company's privatization by the Government of Canada. At which time it was Canada's largest single IPO. While at CNR, Alan held key positions in Marketing, Operations and Finance. He built CNR's financial risk management strategy which involved commodities, currency and interest rate derivatives.

Alan left CNR in 2001, joining Noco Canada Energy Inc.,(Noco) a privately held downstream petroleum logistics company. Under his leadership Noco grew to become one of Canada's largest downstream energy distribution companies, dominating the markets in Ontario and Quebec. He was then recruited to Parkland Industries (PKI) in Red Deer, Alberta. Is Canada's leading downstream energy products distributors in Canada, having acquired the assets of Noco, along with numerous other companies in the industry.

Gaining extensive experience in acquiring companies Alan joined Osprey Capital Partners (Osprey) in Toronto, Canada's largest independent corporate finance advisory firms, leading the energy, infrastructure and industrials markets teams. Alan was a named partner of the year in 2012.

Recognizing the need for investment banking advise to the numerous small to middle market companies (Enterprise Value of $10 to $50M) preparing to transition ownership, Alan establish A. Crossley & Associates in 2018. The firms main focus is working with companies in the manufacturing, distribution/logistics and B2B industries.
