Those Distant Voices is a rock supergroup formed in Herne Bay in 2010 by Dan "DJ Dan" Rogers amd Nick Tovey. The group also includes a mysterious drummer known only as "Drum Machine" during live performances. Drum Machine prefers to stay out of the limelight and as such there are no known photographs of this illusive band member. The band began recording in 2010, and performed their first gig on 19 June 2010 at the world famous Margate Cricket Club[1].

A Brief History[edit]

Nick and Dan have been playing in bands together for the past 6 years. Together they founded Unify'd, a local duo that played in Canterbury & the surrounding area. After a number of years gigging they decided to call it a day to concentrate on other projects.

Other Projects[edit]

Dan Rogers is a self titled international super star DJ for Reflex Radio[2] with a regular Tuesday night slot broadcasting as far as Eastern Europe. Outside of the music world Dan is responsible for fathering 14% of the ginger population of East Kent.

Nick is a much more private individual and spends most of his days trying to fight the exceptional growth of his body hair. BP are studying his the unnatural growth rate as part of a possible solution to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill[3]. Nick spends most of his private life with his blonde however tensions are often raised when, as an avid Arsenal fan, tenses are raised with his Tottenham fan blonde.
