Eliana Tidhar (born August 24, 1992) is an Israeli actress, singer, musician, presenter and speaker.

Biography

Tidhar was born and raised in Tel Aviv. Her cousin is the actor Yuval Segal and her cousins are the actors Shmuel Segal and Yossi Segal.

In her youth, she studied theater at the Hebrew Gymnasium "Herzliya". At the same time, she studied piano at the Israeli Conservatory of Music in Tel Aviv. She was also a singer in the band "Chich's Neighbors" and in the Tel Aviv Scouts band in which she performed, among other things, in musicals directed by Yaron Kafkafi and Amir Fay Gutman.

She did her service in the IDF in the military band "Kitbag".

In 2011 she was cast in the series "The Dreamers", on the HOT children's channel where she played Daniela (Danny) Robin and sang together with Tuval Shafir the theme song of the series. At Hanukkah that year, she participated in the Festigal and won first place, along with Tuval Shafir in the song "The Children of the Future". That same year, he won the "Couple of the Year" award with him at the children's selection ceremony.

IIn 2012 she began participating in the sequel to "The Dreamers", "Gallis", in which she continued to play Danny for 7 seasons, until 2016. In addition she participated in the Festigal that year, where she performed the song "Great Love" and won first place. That same year she began appearing in her new show: "Eliana's Show." At the end of 2012, she won the title of "Actress of the Year" at the children's selection ceremony.

In 2013, she began participating in the telenovela "Enigma" in Yes, where she played the character of journalist Shoshan Stiegler. Tidhar even took part in Gallis' show alongside her friends in the series. This year, the dubbed film "The Beautiful and the Gladiator" was released, in which she voiced the beautiful Lucilla. At Hanukkah that year she participated in "X Festigal" and won first place with the song "What Does It Matter". At the end of that year, she won the title of "Actress of the Year" at the children's selection ceremony. In July 2013, she collaborated with Raanan Fogel in the duet "Song of the Angels".

In August 2014 she starred in the movie "Gallis - The Journey to Astra", based on the plots of the series Gallis. In October 2014 she participated in the second show of the TV series Gallis. At the end of that year, she won the title of "Actress of the Year" for the third time in a row at the children's selection ceremony. In the same year she also participated for the fourth time in the Festigal show, and again won first place with the song "On the Way to Light" [1]. That same year she hosted the broadcast "Bigger Than Life" alongside Tal Musari. Tidhar was also a member of the panel of the Channel 2 entertainment program "Network", "Everything Goes".

In April 2015, she starred in the comedy show at the Givatayim Theater, "Please turn off phones," alongside Guy Amir, Hanan Savyon and Naomi Lvov. In the summer of that year, she participated, with Roni Dalumi and Lee Byrne, in the show "Taking the Time", in which the three hits of the beehive and beetle bands performed alongside new adaptations of classics from "The Sixteenth Lamb". In August of that year, she dubbed Courtney in the movie "Barbie The Rock's Queen." At the same time, she joined the "Purple Band" as part of the Cameri Theater Cafe for improvisational evenings. The group, most of whose members graduated from the Nissan Nativ Jerusalem branch acting studio, also performs at the Khan Theater. In the same year, in September, she won the title of "Actress of the Year" for the fourth time in a row at the children's selection ceremony on the children's channel. Later, she took part in the Festigal show again and was photographed for "Gallis - Connect", the second film in the "Gallis" film series that was released in April 2016.

Later in 2016, she participated in Shai Kanot's film "Four on Four". In addition, she began participating in the "O-Boy" series, as Zohar Applebaum on the children's channel. In the same year, she was photographed for the student film "Repeat Hymn", which was produced as part of studies at "Ma'aleh - the School of Television, Film and Arts" in Jerusalem. In May 2017 she began playing a lead role in the musical “Just Loving” alongside Oz Zahavi at the Cameri Theater. In September 2017, she was named "Actress of the Year" at the Children's Selection Ceremony, for the sixth time in a row, and on Hanukkah that year, she performed again at the Festigal.

At the end of 2017, Tidhar began serving as the presenter of the Delta fashion brand. In addition she participated in her seventh Festigal.

In 2018, she played the lead role in the film "The Right to Silence" by the ultra-Orthodox director and producer Dina Perlstein.

In June 2018, she put on a joint show with Lee Biran, "Eliana Tidhar and Lee Biran Sing the Sixteenth Lamb", on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the masterpiece of Jonathan Geffen and Yoni Rechter, "The Sixteenth Lamb". That year she appeared for the eighth time at the Festigal.

In 2019, she starred in the youth series "Forever", written by Uri Gross especially for Tidhar and her partner Biran. In the series, she plays Dr. Batya Gilman. On the TeenNick channel.

In January 2019 Tidhar and Biran released the duet "Without You", from the series "Oboy".

In 2019, she began directing the program "Ninja Israel Children" which was broadcast on the "Children's Channel", alongside Oded Paz. At the end of that year she participated in the Play Festigal as Miss Eli, and Eliana was Tali's sister.

In April 2020 Tidhar and her partner, Lee Byrne, released the song "Not Alone". That same year she performed at her tenth consecutive festival and thus Tidhar broke a new record of ten consecutive performances in the show and reached a draw with Tal Musari. In doing so, Tidhar held the title of "Festigal Champion" and won the title of "Queen of the Festigal" that year in a parade held by the Galgalatz radio station. In addition, this festival made a tribute to the dozens of festivals in which she participated: the songs she performed in the show were renewed and she also participated in other sections that mention it in the role itself.

In June 2020 she released her first single, called "Addictive". In April 2021 she released her second single, called "Blind Love".

In 2021 she participated in the telenovela "The Dream Girl", in the role of Shani Warburg. In the same year, she also appeared in Avi Nesher's film, "Image of Victory" as Ada.

In April 2022, the film "Our Story" was released, starring Tidhar and her husband Lee Biran.

Personal Life

Tidhar married actor Lee Byrne on August 9, 2021 [8], and they live in Moshav Magshimim.
