Dark Roses
Dark Roses is a debut album set to be released later into the year by a rap musician by the name, Mr1comma2.
Mr1comma2 has been a local household name for the past few years.
In year 2015, he released a mixtape titled, "revealations". The project consisted of 20 tracks including an introduction, interlude and a bonus track from fellow rapper, Chapter called Rep my city.
Dark Roses is meant to pick up, follow suite and broaden the pattern from the previous project. Although Mr1comma2 has not yet publicly released a statement containing information on the number of tracks to be expected, he has however mentioned names of artists he worked with on the album. Local sensations like Chapter, Prilleto, King Nccthy and so forth are amongst the names that have been brought to the public's attention. The project is also rumored to contain a surprise international collaboration with a western pop musician who is making rounds on an international level.
Dark Roses is set to be distributed on a global scale to accommodate all corners of the entertainment industry market. Which in my personal perspective is meant to attract more international acquaintances, bring in more business and widen the fan base.
The album Dark Roses, will be distributed both digitally and physically.Taking into consideration that Spotify, which is an enormous audio distribution platform is now accessible to South Africans and most corners of the globe definitely opens a tab that makes it compulsory for new projects to be distributed through the cloud. ITunes and playstore music are also part of the most well known platforms for recent projects. With that being said, having Dark Roses on the cloud will definitely boost the sales.
