Atul Dobhal (born 15 November 1998)famously known as Kalam Ink, is an Indian rapper, lyricist, and music composer. He began his rap career in 2018 in his college days with some of his friends by recording and uploading songs on social media websites. Kalam Ink is famously known for his lo-fi raps and soul-touching lyrics. He is an independent artist who has more than 70,000 subscribers on youtube and more than 18,000 followers on Instagram. He is famously known for his songs- K.Y.U, 1998, Kala Kari, Waise Wala Pyar, etc. He has released more than 60 songs to date and has several unreleased songs that are cued to be released. He is one of the best rappers in Uttarakhand, India, and is also considered as one of the upcoming rap stars in India. Kalam Ink has been praised by several rap stars and is recognized by most of the stars.
He has more than 1 million views on Spotify and 3 million + on youtube and his popularity is drastically increasing day by day because of his heart-touching lyrics and soothing music. He has collaborated with several artists like Nitesh a.k.a Nick, Raichuu, JstSid, etc. He has also collaborated with Pakistani Rapper Fadi to release the first rap collaboration between Indian and Pakistani rapper.
In the past 1 year, he has gained a lot of achievements because of his hard work and dedication towards his dream. He has never perceived rapping as a profession but as a dream as writing songs is his childhood dream and he believes in achieving his dream.
EARLY LIFE AND FAMILY
[edit]Kalam Ink was born in Tehri, Uttarakhand to parents from Tehri, Uttarakhand.His brother is famous youtuber The UK07 Rider who has more than 1 million subscribers on youtube. He compeleted his schooling from Doon Public School, Bhaniawala Dehradun. After schooling he joined Hotel Management bachelor course in Lovely Professional University Phagwara, Punjab. He met some friends there who loved rapping and then he started his rap career. He started uploading his songs since then and gained popularity in 2020 after hustling for 4 years. Kalam Ink also has keen interest in Photography, Story telling, Singing, and playing video games.
CAREER
[edit]Till date he has released more than 50 songs and has several songs that are queued to be released. He has performed at several occassions and plans to perform India tour in the upcoming years. Being an independent artist it is a huge achievement to be recognised by so many people
