Sha and Shcha[edit]

Ш and Щ, called ⟨Sha⟩ and ⟨Shcha⟩ respectively, are letters of the Cyrillic script. The letters are very easy to confuse with each other, given the fact that the only difference is a descender. They have been subject to confusion ever since the beginning of cyrillic itself.
