Musical style and influences

[edit]

Chaoseum is classified as nu metal[3][4][5] and metalcore[3][4][6], featuring elements of alternative metal, groove metal, progressive metal, and melodic death metal[5], and sometimes acoustic rock[3].

Their first album blended heavy metal with metalcore[6], as well as influences from classical hard rock, thrash metal, jazz, and alternative rock.[7]

The band's inspiration comes from early 2000s nu metal, metalcore, and modern metal bands[1], including Trivium, Killswitch Engage, Korn, Slipknot, Bullet for My Valentine, and Static-X[4][6].
