Shawn Keon Adams (April 6, 1976 – May 30, 1998), Also known as Dorian and Lil Keon was an American gangster and suspect of killing Orlando Anderson, the prime suspect of the murder of Tupac Shakur. Adams belonged to the Southside Crips and was actually a good friend of him. Crips members said that he shot his own gang-member (Orlando Anderson), but Compton Police made him only a suspect. Many say that Shawn started the shootout.
On May 30, 1998, at the age of 22, he was killed in a revenge killing on a parking lot.
Party Murder[edit]
February, 1996, A party in the streets of Compton. Shawn got invited to join the party, he got his weapon (Glock 17) for "self-defense". When he arrived, he saw two Bloods. The Southside Crips' rivals are Bloods, so he followed them into the garden and shot and killed them. Adams got arrested, but got free again. The two got not verified.
Killing of Orlando Anderson[edit]
Adams arrived at a Compton carwash with two other members, then Orlando came up and asked someone who owed him money: "You got the money!" Then shots rang out, according to sources, Shawn shot Orlando three times. It's not known if he started the shooting or that he killed Orlando Anderson.
Death[edit]
Shawn knew that he would get shot one day, but when his friends said that he allegedly shot Orlando, he instantly thought that his own gangmembers are going to kill him. May 30, 1998, Shawn was on a parking lot having an argument, it became louder and louder, at the moment he heard: „Traitor bitch!" It were two full cars. The guy who had an argument with Shawn instantly ran, the cars started shooting and hit Shawn 14 times, Shawn died instantly. The gunmen goal was actually just to let him suffer, but the plan got out of hand and everyone started shooting at Shawn.

The Tupac case got dashed after the shooting.
