"A small-firm personal injury lawyer with expertise in asbestos and mesothelioma cases takes on the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, representing more than 75,000 individuals as amicus in an action brought by the federal agency against a cryptocurrency company. In the 2024 United States Senate election in Massachusetts, Deaton was endorsed by entrepreneur Mark Cuban,[2] former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci,[3] and Karyn Polito, former Lieutenant Governor of Massachusetts,[3] as well as by the Massachusetts College Republicans.[4]
