The 2019–20 season is Lewes' 18th year in existence and second consecutive year in the FA Women's Championship. Along with competing in the league, the club will also participate in the FA Cup and the League Cup.

Lewes faced Blackburn Rovers on the opening game of the season at The Dripping Pan. Lewes came up on top thrashing Rovers 5–1.[1]

The 2019–20 season is Lewes' 135th year in existence and second consecutive season back in the Isthmian League Premier Division. Along with competing in the league, the club also participated in the FA Cup, FA Trophy and the Isthmian League Cup.

The season covers from the period from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020.

After a successful pre season, winning 5 out of 6 of their games Lewes went into the season high in confidence.[7] Enfield were Lewes' first opponents of the new campaign where it finished 1–1 at The Dripping Pan.[8] Lewes faced Leatherhead in the first qualifying round of the FA Cup where the tie was decided in a replay as a result of a 2–2 draw in the Surrey town. Lewes won the replay 3–1 on penalties back home after a 3–3 result.[9] [10]
