Rules of Dytkosia
[edit]The Rules of Dytkosia follow U.S. laws, the Constitution, and the Preamble. However, violent and mischievous acts will result in a hefty Dytko fine. Firearms and guns are legal with a special permit. However, explosives such as bombs are completely illegal, with fines imposed based on the severity of the offense. Public safety is a top priority in Dytkosia, and as such, the use of fireworks and other pyrotechnics is strictly regulated, requiring prior approval. Additionally, the use of drones is restricted to designated areas and requires a permit to ensure privacy and safety. Unauthorized entry into restricted areas is prohibited and subject to fines. All citizens and visitors must adhere to these rules to maintain the peace and security of Dytkosia.
History
[edit]The name Dytkosia came from Jeff Dytko, following an idea of his to create his own nation in his cubicle, so he could compete in the Olympics. He and his co-worker brainstormed ideas, landing on the pseudonym Dytkosia as the name of the country.
On May 24, 2024, Bennett Dytko conceived the idea of creating a micronation at K&W Drive-In near Springboro, Ohio, that would encompass the landmass of their home in Centerville, Ohio. Inspired by other notable micronations such as Sealand, Molossia, and the Aerican Empire, the Dytko family - Bennett, Jeff, Paula, and Juliet - began to shape their new nation.
Following initial discussions, the family collaboratively designed a national flag, incorporating colors significant to each of their identities. A national anthem was composed, drawing inspiration from hobbies and interests shared by the Dytko family, further establishing a sense of unity and culture within the Republic of Dytkosia.

This policy aims to maintain cleanliness and protect the environment while ensuring the well-being of local wildlife.
Flag of Dytkosia
[edit]The Flag of Dytkosia consists of four triangles, two elongated and two regular. The flag’s colors are based on the family’s favorite colors. The original flag designs were inspired by the French flag, and a coat of arms was inspired by Spain's.

[edit]Wildlife
[edit]In the front yard of Dytkosia, two American basswood trees stand prominently. The garden features a variety of plants, including European box, four hydrangeas, dogwood, several prickly lettuce, hydrangea quercifolia, and thuja, which serves as a common hideout for invasive cats. Additionally, a vibrant burning bush adds color to the landscape.
The interior of Dytkosia lacks plants but is home to various invasive species. Common houseflies are frequently found in Stewartson, while Jeffston harbors arachnids, particularly wolf spiders. These spiders thrive in the cool environment of Jeffston but are rarely found on the warmer upper floors.
The backyard of Dytkosia features a garden with a Japanese knotweed, three Japanese meadowsweet plants, several prickly lettuce, hostas, and a Japanese barberry.
Under the Dytkosian Congress, the natural area behind the house falls under Dytkosian jurisdiction. This space is dominated by Amur honeysuckle, which covers much of the backyard. Two American sycamore trees are also present. While insects primarily make up the local fauna, cats occupy a significant role in the food chain.
