[edit]BestDestiny is better known as Janet Hetherington, writer, screenwriter, journalist and artist.
Janet first self-published her supernatural comic book series Eternal Romance under her Best Destiny imprint and now uses it for her blog @besdestiny and on Twitter (bestdestiny), as well as right here on Wikipedia.

Meaning
[edit]The name Best Destiny was chosen to follow the philosophy "I am my own best destiny," and because the initials shorten to B.D. (for bande dessinée, the French term for comics).
