DynaSys is a company that provides advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software, to manufacturing, distribution and wholesale companies. [1]

History

In 1985, DynaSys was founded in an old bakery by a former planner who developed and launched one of the first computer based Supply Chain Planning software to address manufacturing companies planning issues.

DynaSys began with a few large food and beverage customers, supporting them from our headquarters in Strasbourg, France. But as DynaSys' customers took their brands to the next level —international— the company adapted quickly to keep up. Today DynaSys supports customers all around the world and are the Demand & Supply Chain Planning division of the QAD Inc group.

In 2017, DynaSys has been positioned as a Challenger in Gartner Magic Quadrant for Sales and Operations Planning Systems of Differentiation. [2]

In 2018, DynaSys has been positioned as a Challenger in Gartner Magic Quadrant for Supply Chain Planning Systems of Record.

DynaSys global headquarter is in Schiltigheim. In addition, the company have offices in Birmingham, United Kingdom, Paris, France, Downers Grove, USA, Milan, Italy and Singapore.

DynaSys' technology provides a comprehensive end-to-end supply chain solution.[3] The unique key to DynaSys are the underlying six pillars of the Supply Chain platform: anticipation, optimization, planning, response, simulation and collaboration. DynaSys is also the first global end to end supply chain planning technology providers to achieve DDMRP certification by Demand Driven Institute.[4]

Notable companies and organizations which use DynaSys software include chemical manufacturer Solvay S.A., automotive manufacturer Valeo, beverage manufacturer Pernod Ricard or medical device manufacturer Essilor.

Acquisition

On 2012, QAD, a global enterprise resource planning (ERP) software provider, acquired DynaSys and made it the group's demand & supply chain planning division. [5]
