Vancouver Angels, officially Vancouver Girls Ice Hockey, are a junior- and minor all-female[2] ice hockey club competing in various leagues under the Pacific Coast Amateur Hockey Association (PCAHA). It was founded in 1972 as the Killarney Girls Ice Hockey Association[5] and it currently the city's only all-girl hockey association.[2][3]
In 2012, Vancouver Angels hosted the second annual World Girls Ice Hockey Weekend, an event organised by the International Ice Hockey Federation in order to attract more interested girls to start playing ice hockey.[6][7]
